Upto Rs 550 crore appropriation stores for business advances

Boss Minister said that the appropriation assets of Rs 500 crore to Rs 550 crore for work advances to Minorities, SCs, STs and BCs will be discharged before March 31.

Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandhrasekhar Rao on Wednesday said Rs 500 to Rs 550 crore appropriation stores for work advances to Minorities, SCs, STs and BCs will be discharged before March 31 this year.

The Telangana Government was more worried than the resistance parties about the welfare of SCs, STs, minorities and BCs in the State, said Mr. Rao amid Question Hour in the State Legislative Assembly.

Expressing that the back office was at that point taking a shot at the measures to be taken up amid the following monetary year, Rao said an extraordinary meeting would be met with MLAs and MPs by this month-end to talk about measures to be embraced for the pending spending plan.

Answering to a question by Leader of Opposition K. Jana Reddy on the applications got, Finance Minister E. Rajendar said 5,07,480 applications were gotten and the legislature was clearing every one of the applications at the most punctual.

On Mr. Reddy's comments over the postponement and disappointment of the State Government in clearing the applications, the Finance Minister reminded that amid its 10 years residency, the Congress party had discharged just Rs.372 crore.

In actuality, the TRS government inside 2.5 years had discharged almost Rs. 1,400 crore. This demonstrates the State Government's dedication for welfare of BCs, SCs, STs and Minorities in the State, he said in the midst of pounding of work areas by the TRS administrators in the house.

On Congress MLA K. Venkat Reddy's request to club the pending applications in the current budgetary year, the Finance Minister said every one of the applications will be cleared at the soonest.
